Как сделать персонажа на маунте в Totally Accurate Battle Simulator

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.

Инструкция, как для персонажа добавить маунт

Далее сохраните этого персонажа и выйдите из игры TABS. Теперь перейдите в корневую папку с игрой. К примеру, мой путь к игре такой:

D:/Steam/steamapps/common/Totally Accurate Battle Simulator/TotallyAccurateBattleSimulator_Data/CustomContent/CustomUnits

m_unitBase и m_ID в Totally Accurate Battle Simulator

Все, что вам нужно сейчас сделать — это выбрать из списка ниже ID интересующий вас вид транспорта, который вы хотите добавить для персонажа, и указать его после «m_ID». Затем сохраните внесенные изменения в файле. Готово!

Unit Creator Guide

Here is a beginner tutorial to the Unit Creator. Quite a bit is written on the Unit Creator page but not how to make custom units or factions. That is why this page exists.

Contents

1. Open It

Click on ‘Custom Content’ on the home screen and you should see the Units and Factions tabs. There are also custom Battles and Campaigns tabs, but they aren’t for units. Stay on the Units tab; we’ll get onto the Factions later. Click the ‘Make New Unit’ button.

2. Unit Base

On this button, you can choose 3 unit bases. They are Wobbler (ordinary), Stiffy (skeleton), and Halfling (hobbit).

3. Unit Voice

Here, you can select what you want your unit to say. There are dozens of voice lines and you can hear what they say with the play button. Once selected, you can change the pitch of your unit. Left to decrease and right to increase. Though currently, the voice pitch modifier part of this feature is still rather buggy and won’t work, more often than not.

4. Movement Type

Movement type is how units will distance themselves from their enemies. Units with the melee movement type will move forward and backwards to maintain at their weapon’s maximum attack range. Units with the ranged movement type will keep moving forward until they reach their weapon’s maximum range; they will not back off enemies get too close.

5. Targeting Type

Most units will be have the Enemy target. Melee, ranged and debuffing units are usually this. Closest Friend target is for support units who heal and/or buff teammates. Most Expensive Friend is good if your Win Condition is set onto your big boss and you need to keep it alive. Least Health Friend is normally for healer or medic units to keep them alive.

6. Rider

The Rider option allows you to choose what will ride your unit. If you want that, it’ll be better to make the rider before the mount. If you add a mount, you can edit it to your liking.

7. One-handed/Two-handed

The next tab is all about the weapons and abilities. Now, you might want to flick through the weapons before you decide whether or not your unit will use them with one hand or two. Some weapons are designed to be one-handed and may be held awkwardly when held with two.

8. Weapons

Now you can choose your weapons. There are loads of weapons, with some not even from TABS (they’re in TABG). You can colour most, if not all of the weapons by clicking on the chosen weapon and selecting colours on a pie chart looking thing. On the Stats section next to it, it is empty on melee weapons, but you can change the projectile for ranged weapons. You could have a crossbow shooting Tank Rounds or a rocket launcher firing snakes.

9. Abilities

If you want your unit, now equipped with godly weapons, to be even more buffed, add abilities. Use Fire Storm to burn up units and Vlad Impale to stab enemies with stakes. However, you can only use 5 abilities. Using a bug/glitch/easter egg, you may add up to 30(see the Abilities page).

10. Clothes Parts

Finally, we can stop your unit being naked. In Early Access, you have 10 clothes slots, while in Full Version, there are 15. Upon clicking ‘Add Item’, you are presented with 5 sections or parts: Head, Torso, Arms, Legs, Feet. Choosing one of those will result in many, many options.

11. Add Clothes

Equip some clothes for your unit to wear. You can add more than one item for each section. If you are using the Halfling base, expect severe clipping. Like the weapons, you can colour the clothes as well. The range of clothes is so massive, you can put a pair of meme glasses on a TABSILLA head.

12. Stats

This is a very fun part. Here, you can choose exactly how powerful you want your unit to be. There are several editable stats: hitpoints, size, weight, movement speed, attack speed and damage.

13. Hitpoints

This should be fairly easy to work out- the more HP, the longer it lasts. You can make a super-fragile assassin or a bulky bodyguard. Minimum HP is 1, while maximum is 9E+36 [confirmation needed].

14. Size

Again, pretty simple. this changes how tall it is. You could make a tiny ant or a giant Typhon. The maximum is 100x and minimum 0.2x. Keep in mind that size will multiply hitpoints by square, and vice versa.

15. Weight

This affects a few factors. First, the heavier a unit, the lower it hovers [confirmation needed]. Second, the lighter a unit, the more knockback. Third, the heavier a unit, the better balance it has. Lastly, its strength. This is different from damage as strength is how well it handles a weapon. A heavy axe or sword is best used by heavier units. The minimum is 0.1x and maximum 9E+36 [confirmation needed].

16. Movement Speed

Quite self-explanatory. You could make a superhero or a heavy-clad soldier. The stats seem to go infinitely both positively and negatively. Negative speed will make the unit go backwards and 0x makes them stay still. Beware with this, as too high speeds like 100x+can fling units of maps and/or unable to fight properly(Super Peasant is 45x speed).

17. Attack Speed

This stat multiplies how quickly weapons can attack. This can make a quick-striking sword master or a tank with a morning star. Negative or 0x with ranged weapons only makes the weapons have a non-existent cooldown period. I would recommend only using 0.1x to 100x attack speed, otherwise it might get a bit too crazy.

18. Damage

Very, very simple. This multiplies the damage any attack from your unit can do. This can make a Goku Kamehameha or a measly pleb. 0x damage will do nothing to enemies, but negative can heal allies. Since Solar Maelstrom heals allies, negative will make it damage friends. The Healer’s Healing Beam can do damage if there is negative stats. There doesn’t seem to be a limit on damage.

19. Saving

Once you have finished your masterpiece, you are probably want to save it. On the Save tab you will have to do several steps: Unit Name, Icon, Unit Cost and Description(optional).

20. Naming

Choices, choices choices. What will it be? Shinigami, Larry, maybe even Mr. Goldfish.

21. Icon

When you click this, you have to take a photo of your unit. Everything in the white circle will be in the Icon. You can turn the unit, zoom in and out, just to take your picture.

22. Unit Cost

You can either choose the game to create your cost with Auto and it’ll be at least 10 and can go higher than the Super / Dark Peasant. However, in the Manual option, you can do 1 to 65535.

23. Description

This is completely optional. You can leave it blank or fill it up with battle tactics, strengths and weaknesses, lore, whatever.

24. Custom Factions

Once you are happy with your unit, click the Save button. However, you won’t be able to play with your unit without making a faction. To do that, switch to the Factions tab and create a new one.

25. Edit It

When you make the Faction, you can change the colour, icon and name of it. After you’re finished customising, click on your made unit(s) to add them into it. It may be a mess of random creations or a themed one.

And you’re done! Now, to play with your faction, click the + sign on the list of factions when in a map and drag it to the top. If you are really pleased with your creation(s), you can post them on the Workshop for other people to play with.

Табс как создать юнита

Disclaimer: This is my very first guide i ever made so please know while reading this, that there may be a lot of mistakes i may have made while creating this.
Also this was made during the public beta release and a lot will probably change later on

Hello and welcome to the guide on how to use the unit creator

If you did not read the description yet than I’ll just quickly tell you that this is my first ever (and somewhat useless) guide. Please give out criticism in a polite way for me to fix if you find any. Passive aggressive is also allowed.

Once you open the Custom content you can see the Units and Factions tab

I had made those Units and Factions myself using the Unit Creator.

As you can see the game will allow you to make multiple (maybe even an infinite) amount of Units and Factions for you to choose from.

Next Up is the «Unit Voice» in which you can choose between Dozens of Voice lines each being slightly different to one another. The top box shows you what Unit Voice your Unit will play. In order to change it simply click on the box with the Club and you can choose from a differrent Unit. If you’re unsure about the Voice lines than you can simply click on the play buttons and you can have some previews.
Once chosen you can change the pitch of the Voices.
Pull the slider to the left to decrease the Pitch.
And pull the slider to the right to increase the Pitch.

The Rider can be fun to mess around with. You may misunderstand it but the «Rider» option doesnt let you choose on what your Unit will ride on, but on what your Unit will be ridden by.
You can easily change things on the Unit Riding your current Unit you are creating by clicking on «Edit Unit» (My Medic in this case).

This is probably one of my favorite Categories so far since it has one of the biggest Influences on how your Unit fights in battle.

At First Glance it may seem less than the «Base» but oh nonono. There are maybe Hundreds of Weapons and Dozens of Abilities to choose from.

Before you can choose a weapon, you can see that there is also the option of choosing between «One Handed» and «Two Handed». If you were to choose any weapon available in the game and choose «Two Handed», your unit will then hold that weapon with both his hands equipped in the «Main» hand which is the left box. If you put a weapon in the «Off» hand with the «Two Handed» button enabled, the weapon will disappear.
If you want to quickly switch weapons you can click on the » » button you find between both hands.

Most of the Weapons you choose also have the use of changing their colors. Once you have chosen a certain weapon you can click on it again to unequip or change its colour.
What you see is a pie chart with different colours with the the size representing how much it covers the weapon. When you hover over one of the colours it will make the part(s) of the equipped weapon fade in and out telling what you are about to change
https://youtu.be/qU0y9AaNoyE

Clicking on one of the parts will show you a new pie chart each having a different category in terms of colours. List:

The «Special Abilities» tab will grant you with numerous abilities you can give your Unit to.
These Abilities influence the way your units fight by having them «Hover» over the ground up to giving them «Dark Peasant Hands» which makes them almost invincible.
So far the game will only allow a maximum of five abilities per unit each, but does not restrict how many of the same abilities you want to use. Some abilities are stackable while others do not give additional effects.

Size
Size is also self explainable. the smaller the number, the smaller the Unit and vice versa. The Current Minimum is 0.20x. If you try to go any lower by manually filling in 0.10x then it will correct itself back to 0.20x. The maximum Unit size is 100x. Which at first may not seem like much, however it will be very hard for the Unit to fight as all other Units are simply too small to reach.

Unit Weight
Now that is something that can be explained since it counts three things. The First thing is the Weight which means how heavy this Unit will be. Its strength, that determines how it will handle its weapon. And the Last thing is its balance. If its High the Unit will fall less, even with extreme external force. The Minimum is 0.10x while the Maximum again is practically Infinite. So if it has to carry a two handed axe it would be better to increase the weight so he could handle it easier.

Attack Speed
Now that is pretty simple at first if you want to go simple with it. Since the Statistical numbers are the Same with Movement Speed. So you can go infinitely positively and negatively. aslong its above 0 it will work (mostly) as intended. However going to 0 with melee weapons wont affect them. Going 0 with ranged however lets them shoot projectiles instantly without cooldown. And when going negatively the cooldown bar you see when controlling a Unit will be 0. I would recommend to just use numbers between 0.10x and something like 100x. Just to do not make things go crazy.
Also Attack speed is not the same with every weapon. The weapons themselves have fixated numbers on what the cooldown is. The number you change is the multiplier.

Damage
And thats the last of the Stats to change. Similarly to Movement and Attack speed the numbers can go infinitely positively and negatively. the 0 should work as intended. Doing no damage. But negative numbers do not really work yet. Making the numbers negatively will not heal the enemy when hit but just handle normally.
Same with Attack Speed the number will depend on what weapon will be used. As an example a
wooden club will do 1 damage while a sword does 2. Every weapon does a different amount of damage. It is not that every weapon does 1 damage. So really you do not have to mess with that number a lot since 1.00x is good enough already.

Unit Cost
The Last requirement needed before you can save is giving it a cost. The game is nice to create a price automatically, it is however flawed. It would be recommended to manually create a cost. The limits to make a cost manually is between 1 and 65535. When you let the game create it automatically it will be between 10 and over 1 million. The Cost the game makes automatically depends on the Hitpoints, Size, Weight, Weapons and Special abilities. Movement Speed, Attack Speed and Damage do not affect the cost.
When you are done doing all that then you can try to test your Unit by clicking on the «Test» button on the bottom right, or by just pressing Tab which you can also use to stop the testing.

And Lastly the Description. The description can be completely left out with 0 characters or be entirely filled with 282 characters. You can use it to tell more about your character when you plan to upload it to the workshop in the future.
